Backer's Acres English Shepherds

Our goal is to produce a dog that is
intelligent, eager to please, has stock
savvy, is a good companion, easy to look
at and is healthy.

We like a well balanced dog that is happy
to work hard and then, just as happy to
relax at our feet.

We want a dog that likes people but loves
children and desires to be with them. We
prefer a more laid back easy going dog.

Our dogs are not perfect. This is a lot to
demand. We can't predict how a puppy will
turn out. But we will try our best to
evaluate the pups and match them to the
right situation.

Sometimes the right puppy might not be
available for a buyer in a particular litter.
We ask that buyers have faith in our
assessment of the puppies.
Our goal is to put the right pup in the right
home.
